FASfacts is a NGO, which aims to educate the general public on the effect of alcohol consumption during pregnancy on the unborn baby, as well as the influence that people with FAS have on each individual in particular and the broader community in general. The primary objective of the programmes and projects implemented by FASfacts is to decrease alcohol consumption during pregnancy, which will lead to a decrease in the birth of children with FAS.
The purpose of this project, therefore is to teach mothers and the community about the dangers of consuming alcohol during the pregnancy period.
